Weekend Fun
I love weekends like this when you have just the right mix of relaxation and productivity! Saturday saw us shopping in the Canberra Centre and spending an hour or so at Glebe Park, while today we had a morning at home, washing the dogs, mowing the lawns and cleaning windows, followed up by a little trip to Bunnings. We came home with strawberry seedlings and some herbs amongst other things, so in the afternoon we planted these and enjoyed some strawberries from the fridge since Henry couldn't wait that long for "stawbbies"!

Last Weekend's Photo Session
Henry was in a cranky mood for this one and so it didn't turn out quite how I expected although I got some good pics! I tried a new app today called Camera Bag and I love how easy the colour cross tool is to use. It gives such beautiful, smooth and creamy results. How good does the skin look on these two?

Gardening Portraits
Over the weekend, Henry and I spent a fair bit of time playing in the garden and I took a bunch of snaps. Here are some favourites!

A Few Snaps of Henry
I have not written on this blog for such a long time, particularly since I started my photo a day project at the start of 2011. So I was just thinking that I may make this blog a place where I can share more than one photo every day! Here are a few recent favourites, just for a little catch up!

Travelling with Henry
Well I was a bit nervous about travelling so far with Henry and I was very glad that Dale's Mum Glenda generously used her frequent flyer points to help us out with flights because it would have been a very long car trip to Wonthaggi! Henry was pretty good on his first flight and he seemed to enjoy it! Here's a few photos of Henry on his travels over the weekend.

Henry's Half Birthday Milestone
Six months old yesterday... here's some pics of Henry doing one of the things he does best; eating! He's in his brand new whiz bang high chair.
At this stage Henry has enjoyed eating rice cereal, peach, banana, broccoli, corn, zucchini, pumpkin, carrot, blueberry, chicken, risoni, vegemite on toast and yoghurt!
He loves feeding himself with a spoon too :-)

Garden Finally Getting There
![]() |
| Not a blue tongue in sight |
Dale and I have done a lot in the garden in the last couple of weeks. Two trailer loads of rubbish gone, we probably still have at least one more to go, but things are finally starting to get back to normal. We bought a hedge trimmer and finally used it over the weekend... It's a transformation in progress.

Hailstorm
This was a few days ago now, but check out the pictures of the hail that we had... both cars were out of the garage, so as we heard the crashes on our house's tin roof we stood there wondering if our cars were insured for hail damage. In fact Dale was thinking that his car becoming a write off would be even easier than trying to sell it! In the end though, there was not a mark, just an impressive scene as everything looked like it had been covered in snow.

Delicious!
Just had to post a picture of what I made for dinner last night, because it looked so good on the platter! Mum and Dad gave me the book "Delicious - More Please" for Christmas and it is out of there. Highly recommend the Greek Lamb Meatball Salad!

Happy Henry
If you had told me 2 or 3 months ago what a smiley happy baby Henry would become, I don't know if I would have believed you! These days he almost smiles on command. His laughter is just a bit infectious and he can laugh at the simplest things. Today it was my jolting him on my knees and saying a-tishoo after he had had a big sneeze. This got huge laughs from him at least 20 times! Thanks to Mum to taking these pics during our skype session :-)
